Welcome to Joe's!
Who is Joe? Everybody is a Joe because everyone can move!
Joe's Movement Emporium is the community performing arts center of Prince George's County.
With 20,000 feet of studio, theater, office and classroom space, Joe’s provides a diverse range of family-friendly activities and offers a haven for local youth to learn about the arts and technical aspects of production.

In 2010 Joe’s served more than 3,000 youth ages 5-21 with dynamic, age-appropriate educational programs.

Adult classes serve thousands of community members each year: yoga, Zumba, hand dancing and Hip-Hop are offered at $5 per class or free, depending on the class.

Joe’s full season of performances, featuring a wide variety of artists, is one of the most affordable and accessible series in the metropolitan area. Attendance at all performances and events reaches 40,000 annually.

Joe’s also offers low-cost rehearsal space as well as six individual studios available to artists.   More than 25 resident artist groups make regular use of the facility to rehearse, teach and produce work.
