5/2 - Teens will be invited to Joe’s to watch the production of MAD BREED by Active Cultures. This theater production inspired by the real-life encounter between the renowned African American actress Ida Isaacs Menken and 19th century heartthrob Edwin Booth. MAD BREED covers a day in the life of 13-year-old John Wilkes Booth and his teenaged siblings Asia and Edwin as they attempt to put on a play while giving shelter to an African American Actress on the run.

5/16 - Teens will have the chance to see The Ambassadors of Jazz. This young quartet has been trained by the Hear Youth Orchestra of Maryland, and is quickly becoming popular. They will perform Latin standards, Bossanova, show tunes, and jazz songs from their recently produced CD, The Ambassadors of Jazz - Live at the Jackson Estate.
