Dance of the Chakras: A Moving Mediatation Class

This class invites you to explore your body's 7 central energy centers (chakras) through movement. Participants will gain a heightened awareness of the mind/ body connection through vinyasa yoga inspired postures & stretches, intentional breathing for cell renewal and visualization techniques designed to integrate left & right brain functioning. Mobilize the renewable energy in your body to gain sustainable wellness, emotional harmony and personal empowerment in a slow- paced & nurturing environment.
Hoop Jam with Noelle Powers

Join us most Tuesday nights for a Hoola Hoop Jam to lift your spirits and get a full body workout accompanied by groovetastic tracks. All ages and skill levels are welcome at this drop in jam. $5/entry per person. Joe’s provides the hoops or feel free to bring your own. Hoops for sale on site as well. Zumba is a fusion if Latin and international music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system. Based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO", Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a "feel-happy" workout that is great for both the body and mind. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps that borrows Latin flavor from the following styles of dance: Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton and hip hop.

Incorporating principles of Horton, Release Technique and Graham, students will explore movement, focusing on the core, expression, and agility. This class consists of a warm-up, center work, and choreography.

This is a beginning intermediate class with an emphasis on strength, balance and musicality. Students will explore ballet technique, building on the basics in preparation for leaps, turns and adagio work.
SUNDAY
Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Hermione Rhones

Learn the principles of Vinyasa Yoga in this mixed-level class. The word Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement." Leave class feeling relaxed, invigorated and ready for the day.
Beginner Salsa with Juan Rodriguez
5:00-6:00 PM Semester runs January 15th - March 4th
This hot Latin dance has become the latest rage. With an emphasis on having FUN, students will learn the basics of Salsa and dance technique that can be applied to any social dance. Students will learn fundamentals of slasa timing, rhythm, footwork, turns, and dancing with a partner.

$7 for Dance of the Chakras Class
$10 for all Hand Dance Classes
