Registration is open for our summer programs. Camps operate from 9AM-3PM daily. Early drop-off and after care are available upon advance registration. All camps are $200 per week, unless noted otherwise. 10% discount on multiple camp registrations or families and financial aid available until May 1, 2013 (at the close of business).

Camp Descriptions:
Culture Camp: Africa - During this 2-weeks of West African cultural emersion, campers learn by participation in West African drum, dance, song and language. Geography, and folklore will also be focal points in this engaging experience.
Culture Camp: Argentina - This 2-week journey takes campers through Argentina. The children will experience the dance, language, geography, and folklore of these cultures.
Fine Arts Camp: Session 1 – Students will focus on Frank Stella’s work, purpose and influence on modern art. Session 2 – Students will study Alberto Giacometti and Gustav Klimt and how their time periods influenced their art. Session 3 – Students will focus on Morris Louis and Same Gilliam two of DC’s most relevant artists. Session 4 – Students will study the work of Paul Cezanne.
Performing Arts Camp: Creativity Explored – In this camp your child will be immersed in stimulating activities including visual art, story-telling, dance and dramatic play.
Performing Arts Camp: Intensive – Take it a step further, in this 4-week camp participants will be immersed in dance, drama and music.
Applied Creativity: Science in Movement – Anatomy, Human Body Systems, Physics meet Hooping, Jump Rope, Tumbling, Yoga and other movement techniques.
Applied Creativity: Science in Visual Art - Create colorwheels, paper mache and more while learning the Scientific Method, exploring the elements of the Periodic Table, mixing compounds, solids, liquids, etc.
