Summer Art Camps 2012
Registration is open for our summer programs. Camps operate from 9AM-3PM daily. Early drop-off and after care are available upon advance registration. All camps are $200 per week unless stated otherwise. 10% discount on multiple camp registrations or families and financial aid available until May 18, 2012.
Fine Art Intensive
June 18-August 17
This camp includes 9 sessions of Art Exploration with a progressing curriculum for ages 7-13. Campers will gain an exposure to various artists and art history. They will have opportunities to explore different media such as charcoal, paint, clay, etc. and finally they will learn proper care for their work space as well as their works of art.
Culture Camp Series
Session 1 – June 18-29 AFRICA
During this 2-weeks of West African cultural emersion, campers learn by participation in West African drum, dance, song and language. Geography, and folklore will also be focal points in this engaging experience for ages 3-13. Performance will be held on June 29th at 5:30PM.
Session 2 – July 2-20 ESPAÑOL
This 3-week journey takes campers through Central America, South America and Spain. The children will experience the dance, language, geography, and folklore of these cultures. Open for children ages 3-13. Performance Date: August 3 at 5:30PM.
Dance Camp
July 23-August 17
This is a 4-week musical theater intensive camp for ages 7-13. Campers will be actively immersed in the theater arts including dance, drama and music. The culminating event will be an evening length musical theater production. Performance Date: August 17 at 5:30PM.
Creative Movement
July 23-August 17
This camp includes 4-weeks filled with days of dance, tumbling, vocals, drama, visual arts and lots of FUN for ages 3-6.
