On Stage at joe’s
Joe’s Season features local and regional performing artists who are presented, co-presented, and self-presented. Performances are rich in cultural heritage, address issues of the time including immigration, the #MeToo movement, and climate change. Last year On Stage At Joe’s saw roughly 3,500 ticketed individuals.
On Stage at Joe’s also features the #NextLOOK series in partnership with The Clarice.
Joe’s has completed planning for an expansion to the Suitland area in partnership with the Revenue Authority of Prince George’s County. Planning has included meeting with local civic associations, community engagement activities, and assessment of a currently vacant space to be the site of a future arts center based off the Joe’s model. The Creative Suitland program has surveyed over 100 community members and has a small, growing e-news list of 120 emails.
