On Stage Series Artist Call

Joe’s Movement Emporium and Creative Suitland are seeking performing artists from the DMV area to perform in the 2021 season of our On Stage series. Due to the pandemic, Joe’s and Creative Suitland will provide virtual and outdoor performances for the majority of next year.  Artists will receive compensation along with the opportunity to share their artistic perspective with the community. Safety protocols are followed if filmed on site or providing in person performances. 

Performances for the 2021 season will be centered around Heritage, Anti-Racism, Equality and experiences related to the pandemic. Performances will take place virtually and/or in person in our outdoor space with live streaming through the Joe’s website and YouTube. Virtual programs will begin January 15 and continue throughout the year. Outdoor Performances will take place from April 1 to Oct. 31.

The Greater Suitland area considers the central Prince George’s County communities of Suitland, Coral Hills, Silver Hill, Forestville, Capitol Heights, District Heights, Camp Springs, Hillcrest Heights, Marlow Heights, & Temple Hills.
