Jhonny Maldonado as Greg

GREG: "This half of me is Mejicano. This other half of me is WASP. Como sabes which side is which? My mother was Mexican.
She used to tell me: "Este lado es Mejicano. This side is Mexican -- (Slaps left breast)--the side with the heart."

Eli Pendry as David

DAVID: Sis and I were from an aspiring middle class neighborhood. Even as kids we were smart enough to keep our eyes on the next rung of the ladder. Naturally, we hung around the top of the cream neighborhood parks so we could mingle with the best. I mean, in our town we were the "betters", but we aspired to be the best.

Robert Pike as George

GEORGE: I paste billboards now, and take care of my little bro. But don't think I'm one of those broken-hearted give ups. I'm watching out for that smile again. You see, unless you are of a certain kind, you miss the smile, and all those people out there, sneaking their way in here, are out to steal that smile. But over my dead body. That's what I say: over my dead body.

The War Boys runs August 9-31 at Joe's Movement Emporium

PERFORMANCES: Thursday-Saturday at 8PM, Saturday at 2PM, Sunday at 4PM. Community Preview is Friday August 9, Industry Night is Monday August 19.

In their spare time three vigilantes, childhood friends, enjoy patrolling the U.S./Mexican border.  But these youths soon learn that even the most guarded borders are permeable. When the lines between fantasy and reality become dangerously blurred, these young men are forced to decide what it means to be an American, and who has the right to belong.
