ALUMNI/APPRENTICE FILM OPPORTUNITY!
Every fall, CreativeWorks will offer a 22-week Pre-Apprenticeship Program. High school seniors and eligible out-of-school youth, aged 17-24, interested in careers in the creative industry can choose from two tracks 1. Digital Media and 2. Performing Arts and Technical Theatre. This paid training program provides life skills, hands-on experience, workshops, field trips, networking, and career planning, culminating in specialized training, internships, and portfolio development.
OUR FOCUS + CURRICULUM
Track 1
CreativeWorkers will gain skills in:
Technical Theater | Lighting + Sound + Set Design + Stage Crew + Front of House & Safety
Performing Arts | Dance + Storytelling + Spoken Word + Visual Arts + Stage & Production Management
Life Skills | Research colleges, trade schools, scholarships + fill out financial aid forms + write resumes, cover letters, and learn to research and apply for jobs
Track 2
Digital Media | Music Production + Photography + Videography + Graphic Design
Life Skills | Research colleges, trade schools, scholarships + fill out financial aid forms + write resumes, cover letters, and learn to research and apply for jobs
Both tracks include participation in Life Skills, the Storytelling Showcase, the Poetry Showcase, and the Final Showcase
As a member of the CreativeWorks family, you will have access to an infinite amount of networking opportunities and will work alongside and learn from professional artists in the game.

CREATIVEWORKS UPCOMING EVENTS:
Our CreativeWorks - Alumni/Apprentice Film Lab is designed to equip participants of CreativeWorks with the resources, space, and support necessary to produce and direct their own short film. CreativeWorks Digital Media Program staff will provide oversight and support to Participants. This exciting opportunity is designed specifically for individuals who graduated from the CreativeWorks Pre-Apprenticeship Program, as well as current and former Apprentices in the CreativeWorks Registered Apprenticeship Program. All alumni have to be in good standing in order to apply for the Alumni Film Lab.
