Joe’s Movement Emporium celebrates its first 25 years and beyond in 2020. Our “Futuristic Glam Gala” is on Saturday, March 28th at 7:00 p.m.

Joe’s 2020 Gala is an out-of-this-world event featuring delights from across the Multiverse.  To realize our scenic transformation into the Starship Emporium, we need many things, very fast. Please review the list below to donate or lend to Joe’s Emporium.

We must have all items on-site at Joe’s Movement Emporium by March 5th, 2020.

Items that are being lent, please label with your name and phone number so we can return to you after the event.

LED Light fixtures  (Plug & Play)

  •   Wall Washer color changers  

  • Garden Lights (spots or interesting ground spike fixtures)

  • DJ Effects: Sticks, Rope lights, Spots, Up-lighting, Bars, Wheels  Etc.

  • LED color Spotlights (movement sensor or static)

  • LED Xmas Lights (Ropes, Spots, wall washers, star effects)

From your Garage or Garden

  •   Wire Fencing ( 2” x 4” 14 gauge wire grid 4 or 5’ wide)

  • Duct Tape

  • Rolls of Clear Packing tape

  • Floral Wire (easy to bend/shape with)

  • 3” or 4” diam. black ridged flexible piping (With or without holes)

  • 3” or 4” diam. Aluminum Flexible Airduct/Dryer hose

  • Aluminum or Sheet metal Duct pieces or formed sculptural  shapes (Light Weight)

  • 1” x 2” x 8’ Clean, Straight pressure-treated boards (shorter lengths too).

  • Metal mending plates hinges for use with 1”x2” boards.

  • Small “L” brackets Hinges  for use with 1”x2” boards

Spray Paint

  • Flat Black / Gloss Black

  • Shiny Metallic Silver

  • Grey

  • Other leftover colors

From Kitchen Recycling  (prefer no labels)

  • 1 lb Coffee Cans   (need about 8)

  • 5 lb Coffee Cans  (need about 21)

  • 4” diam Cans  (need about 76)

  • 3” diam Cans  (need about 76)

  • CLEAN Aluminum Trays (Roasting, Baking, Catering, Steamtable)

From Your Star Trek Collection (or NASA Enthusiasts)

  • Control Consol

  • Space Ship Command Chair

  • Outer Space related objects (light Weight)
