Coyaba’s Village Celebration
Coyaba's Village Celebration will be held on June 7th, featuring dancers from Coyaba's Academy, Coyaba Dance Theater, and special guest artists, NiDemya & MWENDI Cameroonian Ballet. Directed by Sylvia Soumah, the concerts, at 3 pm and 6 pm, showcase outstanding drumming and West African dancing paired with a free outdoor family arts festival. The festival includes an African-style marketplace and family-friendly interactive visual arts by Carla Creative, Inc.
Carla Creative’s Family Arts Festival features performing artists from the DMV area, including Taratibu, Soul In Motion, Smooth and EZ Unlimited Hand Dance Company and more. Both events will be family-friendly, inspiring, artistic, and fun! For the full schedule, visit carlacreative.net.
