DMV Bund’s Yiddish Movie Night and Potluck
Join the DMV Bund for another Yiddish movie night and potluck!
With a nod to our non-Jewish comrades celebrating morbid things this month, get ready for the eeriest (and most famous) Yiddish movie of all: The Dybbuk (1937), a tale of star-crossed love, thwarted fate, and mystical possession. Yiddish proficiency is not required; there will be English subtitles. After the film, there will be a discussion.
Folks are encouraged to bring dairy or pareve food to share.
Note: DMV Bund asks that attendees PLEASE wear a mask so that this event can be accessible to all.
For more information, check the RSVP link or @dmvbund on Instagram.
