Acompáñenos para un evento comunitario con algunos de los mejores representantes de la música Latinoamericana en el área de DC. Desde mariachi y son jarocho de México, a cumbia Colombiana, y música Andina, esta presentación le dará la oportunidad a la comunidad de conocer la amplia diversidad, variedad y talento que vive y crece en nuestra área de Washington, DC.
Participantes incluyen:
- Grupo Fénix (Mariachi de México)
- Wayta (Música Andina, de Perú, Bolivia, Ecuador, y Chile)
- La Marvela (Bullerengue de Colombia)
- Son La Lucha (Son Jarocho de México)
¡Al concluir la presentación la audiencia tendrá la oportunidad de hacerle preguntas a los artistas!

Pa’lante, la Serie Cultural Latinoamericana, exhibirá artistas de cultura Latinoamericana que existe en el área de Washington, DC, representando la gran variedad de regiones de Latinoamérica: desde Centroamérica al Caribe, de México a Sudamérica. Por medio de esta serie exploraremos la amplia diversidad de culturas Latinoamérica que se practican y conservan en nuestra región.

Join us for a dynamic community event showcasing some of the DC area’s most unique Latin American tradition-keepers, from Mariachi music of Mexico, to cumbia and son jarocho, to the pan flute-filled South American music of the Andes, this showcase will allow an opportunity for the community to witness the true breadth of diversity, variety, and talent that thrives in the Washington, DC region.
Featured acts include:

Latin America is an expansive land full of vibrant life, culture, and music. Thanks to the Latin American diaspora, Latin American culture has been rapidly spreading to all parts of the world and is increasingly becoming part of the mainstream.
The Pa’lante: Latin American Cultural Series at Joe’s Movement Emporium will showcase the wide variety of Latin-made music and cultural expression based out of the Washington, DC metropolitan area, representing the wide variety of creative and cultural expressions stemming from different regions of Latin America: from Central America to the Caribbean, and from Mexico to South America. Through this series, we aim to explore the vast array of Latin American Cultures existing and thriving in our region.
