🌟 THE CREATIVEWORKS EXPERIENCE
More Than a Camp — A Creative Lab for Teens
CreativeWorks Youth Creative Lab is intentionally designed for youth ages 13–16 who are ready for something more than a traditional camp experience.
Here’s what makes CreativeWorks different:
🎥 Three Core Pillars — Every Day
Engage in Digital Media
Explore Performing Arts & Theater Tech
Develop Essential Life Skills
This balanced structure ensures teens grow creatively and personally — not just artistically.
🎥 DIGITAL MEDIA LAB
Create. Capture. Edit. Tell Your Story.
In the Digital Media Lab, teens step into the role of filmmaker, content creator, and visual storyteller. This hands-on experience introduces participants to the fundamentals of video production, photography, editing, and creative storytelling — all in a supportive, teen-focused environment.
Throughout the week, students learn how to:
Frame powerful shots
Capture clear audio
Use lighting intentionally
Edit short videos
Develop storyboards and creative concepts
By Friday, each participant completes a polished digital project — whether it’s a short film, creative reel, or visual storytelling piece.
This lab builds more than technical skills. It strengthens confidence, critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative decision-making — skills that translate far beyond the screen.
🎭 PERFORMING ARTS & THEATER TECH LAB
Step Into the Spotlight — And Behind the Scenes.
This lab blends on-stage performance with the essential behind-the-scenes elements that make theater come alive.
Teens explore:
Acting fundamentals
Voice projection and stage presence
Movement and expression
Scene development and rehearsal techniques
Lighting, sound, and technical theater basics
Participants not only perform — they learn how production works from every angle. They understand cues, transitions, teamwork, and technical coordination.
Whether a teen loves being center stage or prefers supporting the show behind the scenes, this lab offers a space to grow creatively and collaboratively.
By the end of the week, students showcase a performance piece — building poise, resilience, and communication skills in the process.
🧠 LIFE SKILLS LAB
Build Confidence That Lasts Beyond Summer.
The Life Skills Lab is where creativity meets personal growth.
Every day, teens participate in guided discussions and interactive activities focused on:
Confidence and self-awareness
Communication and active listening
Teamwork and collaboration
Conflict resolution
Goal setting and leadership
This is not a lecture-based class. It’s experiential, reflective, and directly connected to what students are creating in Digital Media and Theater.
Teens leave the program not only with creative projects, but with:
Stronger communication skills
Greater self-confidence
A clearer sense of their strengths
Tools for academic and social success
