We're Still Resilient in Mt. Rainier, MD
Back by Popular Demand: The Still Resilient Ball
After the 2016 election the community of Mt. Rainier, MD banded together at Joe’s Movement Emporium for a post-election solidarity event. Two years later, the community will gather again for the Still Resilient Ball. Featuring the bands the Proverbs Reggae Band and the Wild Anacostias, the event has free childcare and a sign-making workshop for the 2019 Women’s March on Washington sponsored by Red Dirt Studio. The event will take place Friday, January 18th from 6 – 11 pm with music sets at 8 pm and 9 pm. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased online at www.joesmovement.org or in person at 3309 Bunker Hill Road, Mt. Rainier, MD 20712.

ABOUT PROVERBS REGGAE BAND
PROVERBS REGGAE BAND is a positive unique, rootz reggae band utilizing strong lyrical content and musical expressions to uplift Rasta livity. Proverbs is the only reggae band in the DC Metropolitan area to maintain the authentic sound of Rasta Roots Reggae Music.
